My Photography Adventure


Many moons ago bought my first camera to capture a Central Australia bus trip holiday. Caught the happy snapper bug and drove everyone crazy with my slide shows. Became a wedding photographer then a News Corp newspaper photographer for 17 years

Started producing Banksia Images postcards as a artistic sideline, which became a full time job in Queensland. Many years of fun with postcards to come and now bringing that talent as Brisbane real estate photographer

Having added property photography to my portfolio, now using my skills with capturing light in landscape pictures. A whole new learning curve of post camera picture processing. Enjoying the challenge and I know you will enjoy the photos

Professional postcard photographer for 20 years, enjoy the art of coming up with new designs and producing them. Yes I take 99% of the pictures, design the layouts and have fun doing sales.

Love taking animal and bird pictures as it is so rewarding to spend time with them. Love camping on K'gari - Fraser Island, Queensland and organising the time to take great photos. My visits always end at a frantic pace as I try to get to the right spot at the right time for the sun. Fun running with a heavy tripod in the sand dunes.

My other favourite spot is the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria with it's lush rolling hills and wonderful cliffs, beaches and low humidity! One needs to be much more patient in photographing Mornington Peninsula due to time I spend waiting for a cloud to go past.  By end of the week you end up with lots of often moody great pictures. So rewarding
